Breaking Barriers in
Education for All

In Kenya, children with disabilities face significant barriers to accessing quality education — from physical inaccessibility and negative attitudes, to a lack of trained teachers and appropriate learning materials. Auschidys works directly with schools, families, and the government to dismantle these barriers one learner at a time.

Through our MAPP-structured Inclusive Education pillar, we deploy DIET-trained educators into classrooms, provide assistive devices to learners who need them, and support parents to become active advocates for their children's educational rights.

  • 50+ schools and learning institutions partnered for DIET training
  • Assistive devices (wheelchairs, hearing aids, braille materials) provided
  • Teachers trained in inclusive pedagogy and special needs support
  • Increased enrolment of children with disabilities in mainstream schools
  • IEP (Individual Education Plan) frameworks introduced for learners
  • Bursaries and school fee support for children from vulnerable families
  • Parental empowerment workshops on supporting learners at home

How We Work

Our Approach

DIET Curriculum

Our flagship Disability Inclusive and Equity Training curriculum equips teachers and staff with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills to create truly inclusive classrooms.

MAPP Framework

The Multi-Annual Programme Plan structures our education work across clear objectives, activities, and measurable indicators — ensuring accountability to every learner.

Community Engagement

We work with parents, local leaders, and school administrators to shift attitudes about disability and build a culture of inclusion from the ground up.

Assistive Technology

From braille materials and adapted learning tools to mobility aids — we ensure learners with disabilities have the physical resources they need to participate equally.

Support Inclusive Education

Your contribution funds teacher training, assistive devices, and bursaries for children with disabilities across Kenya.
