Our Founder
Martin Kilavi founded Auschidys Disability Africa with one clear conviction — that every person with a disability deserves the same rights, opportunities, and dignity as anyone else. As a father of children with disabilities, Martin combines personal insight with strategic leadership, turning challenges into opportunities that empower individuals, families, and communities across Kenya.
Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Martin's work advances quality education (SDG 4), good health (SDG 3), decent work (SDG 8), and reduced inequalities (SDG 10) — while serving on the National Inter-Agency Disability Advisory Committee.
Five pillars of transformation — each designed to create lasting change in the lives of persons with disabilities and their communities.

Through MAPP, learners with disabilities access tailored resources and adaptive tools. Teachers are trained in DIET — Disability Inclusive and Equity Training.

All beneficiaries are registered with the Social Health Authority. DIET-trained staff provide healthcare guidance, therapy, and rehabilitation support.

Through advocacy, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder engagement, we foster a society where persons with disabilities are respected and fully included.

We equip youth with disabilities with vocational skills, market linkages, and entrepreneurship training for sustainable economic independence.

Caregivers are the backbone of inclusive communities. We provide psychosocial support, DIET training, and peer networks to strengthen families.
