SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities

Social Inclusion & Advocacy

the programme

Building an Inclusive Kenya

Disability exclusion in Kenya is not merely physical; it is deeply embedded in cultural attitudes, religious beliefs, and systemic barriers. Auschidys targets the root causes of exclusion through structured advocacy, public awareness, and direct policy engagement, fostering a society where persons with disabilities are respected, included, and empowered.

Our Response

Through our flagship Social Inclusion pillar, we engage policymakers, media, faith leaders, and communities to shift attitudes and dismantle systemic barriers. With over 200 community advocacy sessions, we reach schools, churches, village councils, and government offices, training leaders, families, and community members on disability rights, the law, and what inclusion truly means in practice. This work directly advances SDG 10 by working to reduce inequality within and among countries, ensuring that no one is left behind. Our community commitment-signing events hold local leaders publicly accountable for inclusive action, transforming awareness into lasting change.
